As a My Personal Physician patient, you will receive private phone numbers to contact your providers any time you need to — weekdays, after hours, weekends — whenever a medical need arises.

Timely Appointments

Same-day and next-day appointments are generally available. Schedule by phone or online. Your appointment will begin on-time and give you ample time to discuss your questions and concerns. Most appointments average about an hour in length. We will also make house calls when circumstances warrant them.

Minor Emergency Care

An accident can happen any time, so we are on call 24/7 to provide treatment for minor traumas, stitches, strains/sprains and sudden illness.

The Patient/Doctor Relationship

Our boutique medical practice establishes a solid personal relationship with each patient. We believe that open communication, timely follow-up, and attention to patient feedback lead to insights that will create a healthier life.

Hospitalization

If you are hospitalized by a specialist, My Personal Physician will stay involved in your care, maintaining a collaborative relationship with the physician in charge of your hospital care, reviewing your hospital records and test results, and making hospital visits as needed.

Lab Work

You don’t have to go off-site for lab work. Just come to the office to have blood drawn or to leave a specimen. We will order the labs, review the results and contact you about any areas of concern, usually within 24 hours.

Wellness Program

Our comprehensive, customized wellness programs are designed to make a positive difference in your quality of life. Your plan will be developed by your provider and will establish ways for you to increase and improve your activity level, give you realistic nutrition guidelines, and educate you about achieving and maintaining optimum health and preventing disease.

Screening

My Personal Physician lays a foundation for preventive care with a series of state-of-the-art examinations and screenings to help detect serious illness, such as heart disease or cancer at their earliest and most treatable stages. Our battery of tests is unique in its thoroughness. Annual exams include applicable blood work and tests, such as coronary CAT scan angiogram, full-body CAT scan, carotid ultrasound, abdominal ultrasound, pelvic ultrasound, chest x-ray, mammogram and other screenings deemed necessary.

Specialist Referrals

We have access to the nation’s best specialists and can refer you for immediate concerns, preventive care and/or treatment of a chronic condition. My Personal Physician will confer closely with the specialist to ensure timely, coordinated medical care.

Prescriptions

Your provider will review your medications for efficacy and possible conflicts. We will issue new and refill prescriptions in a timely fashion and arrange for pickup, home delivery, or mail delivery.

​

Travel Medicine

Foreign travel requires medical preparedness. We will review your travel itinerary and provide necessary vaccinations and advice.  If you require a prescription or refill while traveling, we can call in your medication to the nearest pharmacy.

Although we are a fee-for-service practice, we recommend keeping health insurance, as the laboratory we use for blood testing (CPL/Quest) as well as any specialty clinics we may refer you to, or imaging facilities we send orders to (STRIC/Avestee mainly), will bill your insurance for their services.
